What was once just speculation has become a reality and pleased fans. The world's largest mixed martial arts organization has signed the talented Salahdine Parnasse, known as the 'Kylian Mbappé of MMA'. The Frenchman, who shone in the first event of the sport broadcast on Netflix in May, will make his octagon debut against veteran Dan Hooker at UFC Paris , a show that takes place on September 5th.
The announcement of the bombshell signing was made by the company itself during the broadcast of UFC Abu Dhabi , which took place this Saturday (25). It is worth highlighting that Parnasse has been one of the best fighters outside the organization for a long time, he is complete and, before becoming known worldwide by competing on Netflix, he stood out in KSW.
The hype surrounding the Frenchman is so great that he's already headlining the event in his new home and has a real chance of breaking into the top 15 of the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg) if he gets past the veteran. Currently, the New Zealander is ranked 12th in the highly competitive category.
