Conor McGregor once again stirred up social media this Friday (24). The former two-division UFC champion posted a video on his Instagram showing him doing a leg workout at the gym, just over two weeks after suffering a serious knee injury during his fight against Max Holloway at UFC 329 in Las Vegas. (VIDEO BELOW).

In the images, the Irishman is performing lower body strengthening exercises. However, the video does not show his face at any point, making it impossible to confirm whether the recording was made after the injury or if it is old content recently published. To date, McGregor has not revealed when the workout took place.

The former champion suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and a meniscus injury in the opening minutes of his fight against Holloway. Unable to continue, the Irishman was ultimately defeated by technical knockout, adding to his string of problems since returning to the octagon after more than five years away.

The new injury has increased concerns about 'Notorious' physical condition. This was the second consecutive fight in which the two-time champion left the octagon injured. Before this, the Irishman had suffered a serious leg fracture in the trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in 2021.

Despite the situation, McGregor remains active on social media and has stated that he intends to return to competition. There is still no official timetable for his return, but recovery from an ACL injury can require surgery and a rehabilitation process that can last between nine and twelve months.
