One of the top prospects of the new generation of Brazilian MMA already has a date to return. After a great debut against Julian Erosa in March of this year, Lerryan Douglas will step into the world's most famous octagon once again on August 22nd, as part of the UFC Sacramento card. The former LFA featherweight champion (up to 65,7 kg) from Paraná will face American Jamall Emmers.

The information was first released by Dutch journalist Marcel Dorff last Thursday (23) and later confirmed by the fighter himself, who published the news on his social networks. Along with names like Márcio Ticotô and José Delano, Lerryan is part of a new group of promising Brazilian fighters in the featherweight division (up to 65,7 kg).

Undefeated for almost three years, Lerryan is on a six-fight professional winning streak. In total, he has defeated 14 opponents in his 13 years dedicated to MMA, 10 of which were by stoppage. After reigning in the LFA, he earned a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) after defeating Cam Teague in just 36 seconds during the Contender Series last year, before going on to extinguish the lights of veteran Erosa in his debut.
