A very popular representative of the new generation of heavyweights (up to 120,2 kg), Valter Walker is known to the Brazilian public not only for his great victories in the octagon, but also for his controversial personality outside of it. However, anyone who thinks that the fighter is completely oblivious to the repercussions of his words is mistaken. In an exclusive interview with SUPER LUTAS last Wednesday (22), he revealed that he had considered leaving the internet after suffering attacks on social media.
According to Walker, as the number of followers increased, the profile of internet users underwent a change. What was once a community with many admirers gave way to a place full of haters.

“I almost quit the internet. There was a time when I was in the shadows for about two months. I stopped making YouTube videos, recording vlogs, and posting on Instagram. I was losing patience with people. I was giving too much attention to stupid guys,” he stated.

Walter Walker was injured.
The Brazilian, who returns to the octagon this Saturday (25) after suffering a fracture in his left leg, guarantees he is prepared to face Thomas Pettersen. A victory would be the fighter's fifth consecutive win. Regarding the injury, he was sincere in admitting that he was afraid to face Marcin Tybura , an opponent he was scheduled to fight in March.
“I thought he was going to kick my leg. It wasn’t 100% recovered, I still had a fracture. But then everything turned out alright, the bone had healed. The recovery was smooth and I asked to fight again. They managed to schedule it quickly and now I’m very happy, because I was on a good run,” she concluded.
