Dana White knows exactly what he did to break his ties with Anderson Silva . After reigning as middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg), the Brazilian entered a negative phase and began accumulating defeats. The string of bad results led the UFC president to suggest the fighter's retirement, an opinion that, according to him, deeply displeased 'The Spider'.
In an interview on the podcast 'The Pivot', Dana White revealed that Anderson Silva has never spoken to him since then and stated that the former champion was angered by the suggestion. According to the executive, the Brazilian interpreted the comment as undue interference in his career, which ultimately damaged the relationship between the two.
