Dustin Poirier pointed out only one negative aspect of losing his sponsorship with 'Bud Light'. Recently, the American gained negative attention after being involved in a disturbance at the airport while intoxicated, an episode that resulted in his arrest and, consequently, the immediate termination of his contract with the beer brand.

In an interview with journalist Ariel Helwani, Poirier showed no sign of being bothered by the end of the partnership and stated that he sees no need to maintain that type of relationship in his personal life.

In a video posted on social media, Strickland called the company's decision inconsistent and stated that the brand's stance goes against the values ​​it claims to represent. The American argued that, after profiting over the years from Poirier's image, the company should support him precisely during a difficult time, instead of abandoning him.
