Even with the defeat to Justin Gaethje and the loss of the lightweight belt (up to 70,3 kg) at UFC Casa Branca , Ilia Topuria is far from having peace. This Monday (2), the Georgian/Spanish fighter was unexpectedly provoked by Paddy Pimblett . The Briton posted a photo on his social networks holding an official Ultimate bench, claiming that it had been used by the former champion in the defeat suffered last month.
The official item was auctioned off by the UFC days after the event concluded. In the caption of the post, which has several comments, Malvado claimed to be the buyer. At the time, the bench was sold for over US$13 (more than R$66 at the current exchange rate).

The setback suffered at the hands of Destaque in the White House gardens marked Topuria's first defeat as a professional fighter. After four intense rounds, the Georgian/Spanish fighter did not return to the fight, prevented by his brother Aleksandre, leader of his corner. With his face completely disfigured, he left the octagon supported by his team.
