Makhachev's agent responds to Ian Garry's provocations and gives the Irishman a 'reality check'.

Ali Abdelaziz came to Islam Makhachev 's defense and escalated his rhetoric against Ian Garry . Scheduled to face the Irishman in the main event of UFC 330 on August 15th, the Russian has become the target of provocations from his rival, who promises to take the welterweight title (up to 77 kg). Faced with this situation, the promoter decided to react publicly, further heating up the atmosphere for the fight.

In a post on the social network 'X', Abdelaziz questioned Garry's current form and downplayed the athlete's recent performance. According to the manager, the Irishman has two wins and one loss in his last three fights, and has also gone through difficult moments, such as when he was close to being knocked out by Carlos Prates and was ultimately saved by the bell.

“I’ve been listening to Islam’s opponent talking. Here are the facts: He’s 2-1 in his last three fights. He was almost knocked out by Prates and was saved by the bell. He has 10 wins in the UFC, and 8 of them were by decision,” wrote Ali Abdelaziz.

Subsequently, Abdelaziz hardened his tone and indicated that Garry needs to face reality before the fight. In the agent's view, the Irishman is not yet at the level he imagines and could suffer harsh consequences when he enters the octagon against Makhachev.

"Someone needs to give this young man a reality check, because he's about to be destroyed," the businessman concluded.
