If Paulo Borrachinha 's relationship with Brazilian MMA fans was already somewhat strange, now it has become even more troubled. The bad boy, who comes from a beautiful and surprising victory over the feared Azamat Murzakanov in April in Miami (USA), learned, through Dana White, that he is being considered to fight for the interim light heavyweight title (up to 93 kg) of the UFC. As could be expected, the athlete celebrated the good news, but in a controversial way.

On his official 'X' account, Borrachinha simply provoked his fans by asking for silence and mocking his critics. Furthermore, this wasn't the first time the fighter, one of the most vocal in the UFC roster, turned against his compatriots and called them 'bostileiros', which is nothing more than a mix of the words 'shit' and 'Brazilians'.
Due to certain contradictory attitudes and statements, the bad boy is constantly criticized by many. Having already declared that he doesn't care about having the support of fans from his country and that his focus is on being well-regarded in the international market, Borrachinha has once again stirred controversy.
"🤫🤫🤫 I hear the crying of the 💩 Brazilians," wrote the UFC top fighter.
