Tom Brady shocked the world this Friday (17), but not for his plays and knowledge of American football. The NFL legend attended 'Fanatics Fest', one of the world's largest festivals for sports fans, held in New York (USA), and simply slapped Logan Paul, brother of Jake Paul and star of WWE, the world's largest pro-wrestling organization. As could not be otherwise, the scene involving the two personalities quickly went viral.

The curious thing is that, despite being from completely different segments, Brady and Paul have been at odds for some time. However, this time, the provocation turned into aggression. When they came face to face on stage at the festival, the rivals began to argue. Without hesitation, the NFL legend surprised the YouTuber with a slap to the face.

Not satisfied, the NFL legend made sure to share the moment on his official 'X' account and called his rival an 'idiot'. Basketball player Karl-Anthony Towns, a star of the New York Knicks NBA franchise, witnessed the incident firsthand and acted quickly to separate the pair. Because of what happened, the trend is that Paul will start pursuing Brady, escalating the rivalry and potentially leading to its exploitation by WWE.

Beginning of the rivalry

The feud between Logan Paul and Tom Brady began in February. At the time, the WWE star, speaking with the NFL legend, stated that his athletic ability is as impressive as that of the top names in American football. In another less-than-friendly exchange, Brady didn't appreciate Paul citing his statistics from when he played the sport in high school.

Subsequently, during a friendly game of flag football (a variation of American football), Tom took advantage of Logan being on the opposing team to provoke him. On the field, the veteran threw the ball at his rival's groin, who then pushed him and complained to the referee.
