Norma Dumont has a confirmed opponent for her next UFC fight. The Minas Gerais native will face Argentinian Ailin Perez on September 26th in Las Vegas, in a bout both athletes have been requesting for months. A member of Chute Boxe, the Brazilian revealed that she has begun her preparation and expressed enthusiasm for finally facing one of the most provocative rivals in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2 kg).
The two fighters have exchanged barbs on numerous occasions in recent months, both in interviews and on social media. The rivalry intensified as both approached the top of the category's rankings. In a post on her Instagram stories, Norma revealed that the duel was a long-held desire, celebrated the official announcement of the fight, and stated that she is already in intense training for the commitment.

“I’m going to fight Ailin, something we’ve been asking for for a long time. I think this is the right moment, the right opportunity. I’m really excited for this fight, for the 26th. I’ve already been training for a month,” revealed Norma Dumont.
Currently ranked number two in the women's bantamweight division, Norma seeks to get back on the winning track after her loss to Joselyne Edwards and solidify her position as the next challenger for the category's belt.
Ailin Perez , who is currently enjoying a great run in the UFC, is looking to secure the biggest victory of her career and get closer to a title shot.
