Held this Friday (17), the official weigh-in for UFC Oklahoma City went smoothly for the main fighters. Former champions Dricus du Plessis and Kamaru Usman , as expected, fulfilled their obligations and will face off in the big fight of the night, which is extremely important for the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg). With four representatives, the 'Brazilian Squad' also did well on the scales. On the other hand, two professionals failed to make weight.
And the stars didn't take long to appear at the pre-fight ceremony. First at the weigh-in, Du Plessis weighed in at 84,1 kg. The South African, who lost his undefeated record in the UFC and the category's belt to Khamzat Chimaev , seeks to return to the path of victory to, perhaps, compete again for the title against Sean Strickland , the new champion. In fact, 'DDP' has beaten the American twice, in 2024 and 2025.
Ain't nothing to it 💪 @DricusDuPlessis weighs in at 185.5lbs!

Meanwhile, Usman, the former welterweight king (up to 77,1 kg), moved up a weight class again and weighed in at 84,3 kg. The Nigerian, at 39 years old, still dreams of becoming a UFC double champion. It's worth remembering that 'The Nigerian Nightmare' defeated Strickland in 2017.
