Dana White, it seems, sees no problem in promoting a direct fight between Zuffa Boxing and the UFC. After weeks of speculation, the president of both organizations officially announced the fight between Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn. The duel is scheduled for September 12th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the same date as Noche UFC 4, an event taking place at the Desert Diamond Arena in Arizona.

At 27 years old, Ryan Garcia arrives riding high after a convincing victory over Mario Barrios. Despite this, the fighter of Mexican descent is experiencing a turbulent period in his career. In his three previous fights, "King" was knocked out by Gervonta Davis, defeated by Rolando "Rolly" Romero, and had his victory over Devin Haney changed to a "no contest" after testing positive for a banned substance.

Conor Benn, on the other hand, is in a more stable phase. The Briton comes from a dominant unanimous decision victory over Regis Prograis and has a record of 25 wins and only one loss. Interestingly, Benn has already defeated Chris Eubank Jr., responsible for his only defeat in professional boxing. This will be the boxer's second fight in the organization led by Dana White.
