Ryan Gandra is experiencing a magical moment in the world's largest MMA organization. At UFC 329 , an event held last Saturday (11) in Las Vegas (USA), the Brazilian made short work of Zachary Reese and delivered another devastating knockout. Undefeated in the octagon with two stunning victories, the athlete already has his next career step in mind.

In the post- UFC 329 press conference , Gandra, brimming with confidence and determined to break into the top 15 of the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg), simply challenged Israel Adesanya . And the Brazilian's intention is valid, given that the Nigerian, former king of the category, is experiencing the worst moment of his career, with four consecutive losses.

Furthermore, the organization's star fighter stated that he currently only wants to engage in entertaining fights in the octagon. Therefore, Gandra, who possesses an aggressive style, doesn't hide his excitement and, despite his respect, considers Adesanya an ideal target.

“I’m not one to be picky. But I’d like to fight as soon as possible. I don’t like being idle for too long. My dream has always been to be here, and today I am, right? My dream was to fight Adesanya. My dream of fighting him is still alive, right?” said the UFC prospect.

“The guy I used to see on television, and now I see him as a good fight for me. Every fight is tough, right? He’s a very tough guy, but I dream of fighting him in the future,” he concluded.

Ryan Gandra , 31, is a striking specialist and a natural knockout artist. The Brazilian began his MMA career in 2022 and debuted in the UFC in 2026. In the sport, he has built a record of ten wins, eight by stoppage (seven by knockout and one by submission), and one loss.
