A man of faith! Conor McGregor clings to religion to overcome serious injury at UFC 329.

Having not fought since 2021, Conor McGregor finally reappeared in the octagon, but the outcome of his return to combat sports was not as he imagined. In the main event of UFC 329 , held last Saturday (11), in Las Vegas (USA), the Irish star suffered another injury, this time in the very first strike he threw against Max Holloway and, unable to compete, lost by technical knockout. Visibly shaken by what happened, 'Notorious' sought strength in religion.

On his official 'X' account, McGregor, who was accused by many fans and criticized for 'hiding' his injury, clung to his faith during another difficult moment in his career, precisely to try and turn things around. It's worth noting that, over the years, the former UFC champion has been involved in numerous controversies, but, according to himself, his closer relationship with the Church has transformed him into a better man.

Now, the Irishman, who was raised Catholic , made a point of posting a prayer on his profile, highlighting all his love and belief in God. Despite having an uncertain future in the UFC and questioning from fans, 'Notorious', 37, assures that this is not the end of his journey as a fighter.
