Max Holloway is planning his next move. After defeating Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 329 , held last Saturday (11), in Las Vegas (USA), the former featherweight champion (up to 65,7 kg) turned his attention to a possible confrontation against the lightweight champion, Justin Gaethje , and guaranteed that he will maintain the same aggressive style that led him to victory in the first fight. Confident, the Hawaiian stated that he intends to turn the duel into a spectacle for the fans, regardless of his rival's strategy.
Riding high after his victory over McGregor, 'The Blessed One' believes he has the credentials to challenge for the heavyweight title. The Hawaiian emphasized that he doesn't intend to change his approach to face Gaethje and promised to repeat the offensive stance against the American that marked UFC 300 in April 2024.

“I’m going to go in there and do exactly the same thing. I’m going to go in there and put on a show. He’s going to try to make the fight ugly, and I want to put on a beautiful fight and come out victorious,” Holloway declared at the press conference after the event.
While Conor McGregor begins a long recovery process from the serious knee injury suffered at UFC 329 , the Hawaiian is looking to the future and expressing confidence that he can once again compete for top positions in the lightweight division. If the fight against Justin Gaethje is confirmed by the organization, the fighter will have the opportunity to consolidate his momentum and win the lightweight belt for the first time.
