It didn't take long for Conor McGregor to speak out after the tough defeat to Max Holloway at UFC 329. At the event held this Saturday (11), in Las Vegas (USA), the Irish star, who had not fought since 2021, was even excited to return to competition, but was unable to, lasting just over a minute. The veteran suffered a new knee injury. Despite the setback, 'Notorious' did not hide.

On his official 'X' account, McGregor didn't hide his disappointment with the incident and expressed surprise at the knee injury he suffered, which could end his fighting career. After the MMA star's defeat, many fans theorized that he entered the rematch against 'Blessed' already injured. Aware of this speculation, the Irishman put an end to it, guaranteeing that he was in perfect condition before the fight.

With his third consecutive defeat, the second due to injury, Conor honestly admitted that he is suffering like never before in his career. And 'Notorious' frustration is understandable, since his last victory was in 2020 and he even stated that his return to combat sports would be triumphant.

“My knee blew out. Destroyed. I didn’t have any injuries before the fight. I was kicking, with a firm stance and jumping, throughout the camp and also backstage before the fight. This came out of nowhere. I’m at rock bottom. I can only describe this as a true hell,” wrote the UFC star.
