Conor McGregor 's return was not at all triumphant as he had planned. In the main event of UFC 329 , held this Saturday (11), in Las Vegas (USA), the Irish star, who had not fought since 2021, suffered a shocking defeat against Max Holloway . 'Notorious' injured his knee with just over a minute of combat and lost by technical knockout. To make matters worse, the veteran also had to see several rivals celebrating his misfortune.

Immediately after the end of UFC 329 , fighters like Islam Makhachev , Jake Paul , Rafael dos Anjos , among others, mocked McGregor through their social media. Even singer Machine Gun Kelly didn't spare the Irishman. It's worth remembering that the former boyfriend of actress Megan Fox argued with 'Notorious' in 2021 on the red carpet of the VMA (MTV Video Music Awards). Meanwhile, another group of MMA professionals and fans showed solidarity with the star of the company.
