Conor McGregor had the worst possible result in his return to the octagon. The Irish star went into action against Max Holloway at UFC 329 , held last Saturday (11), in Las Vegas, in a duel surrounded by great expectation, but which ended in a frustrating way. 'Notorious' suffered yet another knee injury.
In the opening seconds of the fight, McGregor attempted a flying kick on Holloway. However, without even connecting with the Hawaiian, the former champion ended up injuring his own knee in the process. The Irishman then attacked again, but once more felt the injury.

Realizing the seriousness of the situation, the Hawaiian even warned the referee before delivering a kick to his opponent's leg. Unable to continue, 'Notorious' immediately gave up the fight, prematurely ending the bout. As could be expected, McGregor didn't hide his sadness as he left the octagon and now faces an uncertain future in MMA.
