One of the biggest promises in MMA, Gable Stevenson , gold medalist in wrestling at the Tokyo Olympics (JAP) in 2020, arrived in the Ultimate with a bang and confirmed his status as a strong favorite. At UFC 329 , an event held this Saturday (11) in Las Vegas (USA), Jon Jones ' friend and training partner punished Elisha Ellison and knocked him out in the first round, in just over two minutes. Therefore, the athlete justified his status as the company's new star.
With his impressive UFC debut, Gable remains undefeated in MMA and continues his hype. It's worth noting that, even before signing with the organization, the wrestler was considered by many to be a kind of 'New Jon Jones ' and even the future of the sport. In fact, 'Bones' himself stated that his protégé is already prepared to face the best heavyweight fighters (up to 120,2 kg).

Gable went after Ellison and surprised everyone by using kicks. Quickly, Gable went for a takedown, but Ellison defended. In the exchange, Gable landed powerful blows on Ellison, who responded with a dangerous elbow strike. Confident, Gable continued landing kicks on Ellison.
After landing an illegal blow on Ellison, Gable returned determined to finish the fight and almost succeeded with a powerful sequence of punches. In turn, Ellison resisted as best he could and responded with two dangerous punches. Aggressive, Gable continued to shake Ellison with crosses, straights, and elbows. Relentless, Gable knocked Ellison out with a sequence including a cross, knee, elbow, and straight.
