Conor McGregor is willing to face any opponent in the fight for the Ultimate belt. The Irishman returns to the octagon in the main fight of UFC 329 , scheduled for this Saturday (11), when he faces Max Holloway after a five-year hiatus. The confrontation is valid for the welterweight category (up to 77 kg), a division that will have the title at stake in UFC 330 , in a duel between Islam Makhachev and Ian Garry , a fight that remains on the radar of the Notorious, regardless of who comes out victorious.
During the UFC 329 press conference , McGregor was asked about the possibility of challenging for the belt if Ian Garry wins the title. The former champion showed no resistance to the idea and reiterated that he would be willing to face him without objection, even humorously highlighting a popular expression used in Brazil.

Since then, the Irishman has dedicated himself to other projects and even had a fight scheduled against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in 2024, but ended up withdrawing from the event due to injury.
Now, McGregor returns to action after a five-year hiatus to face Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 329.
