During his preparation for the fight against José Aldo, Conor McGregor innovated and carried out special training with Haftor Julius Bjornson, actor who plays the character Gregor Clegane in the series “Game Of Thrones”. Despite the visible size difference between the two, the Irishman was quite satisfied with his performance.

In a video released last month, Bjornsson, who is an incredible 2,06 tall and weighs 181 kg, appeared “hunting” McGregor, 1,75 m tall, who responded by delivering blows to the waistline. In a humorous way, the fighter analyzed his performance during the session.
"It was very funny. He's a big man, over 2 feet tall and 180 pounds, and I still finished him off. I hit him with a few blows, and I had to. He tried to hit me too. People say he was taking it easy, but he tried to grab me, but I defended him. I thought 'this son of a bitch is so big I need to start hitting him in the body'. But I hit him well. Not even a mountain can withstand my blows”, boasted the Irishman, in a press conference reproduced by the North American website “MMA Junkie”.
Next Saturday (12), McGregor will face a much smaller, but no less dangerous opponent: he faces José Aldo in the main fight of UFC 194, in Las Vegas (USA).
