Rakhmonov has not fought since December 2024, when he defeated Ian Gary by unanimous decision in the main fight of the UFC 310The result maintained his undefeated record and solidified the Kazakh fighter as one of the main contenders for the welterweight title. However, a knee injury prevented him from fighting for the title last year, postponing his plans to face the then-champion of the division.
