McGregor's rise to fame in the MMA world was also the biggest defeat of Aldo's career. The Brazilian was brutally knocked out in just 13 seconds in the main event of UFC 194 in December 2015. He regained the featherweight title (up to 65,7 kg) the following year, but his reign ended a second time when he was stopped by Holloway, who also finished the fight by knockout. The two faced each other again, with the same result and in favor of the Hawaiian.
