Still, it seems that these celebrations remain restricted to sports entertainment and are not expected to expand to initiatives linked to specific social issues.

In an interview with host Tomi Lahren, Dana White was asked about the possibility of the organization holding an event focused on LGBT pride. He stated that he observes the roster of ranked fighters and believes there are gay athletes among the competitors, although not all are publicly out. In his view, sexual orientation is not a relevant factor within the organization, which avoids addressing the issue institutionally.

“Look, I’m looking at my face of top 15 fighters. I assume we have some gay fighters, I don’t know how many of them are open about it. I know we have gay female fighters. I don’t care. I don’t care what you are, who you are, what you do. We don’t talk about it, or anything like that,” said Dana White.

The executive also highlighted that the UFC has already sold a t-shirt with a message of unity among athletes and elements associated with the colors of the LGBT flag, but reinforced that this type of initiative is not part of the company's central focus. According to him, each fighter follows their own path outside the octagon, and the organization does not intend to make this type of issue a promotional priority.

“We have a shirt that says we’re all fighters, and it has the colors of the gay flag. But I don’t know, everyone does their own thing. I don’t care about that,” continued the organization’s president.
