Hometown will hold parade in honor of Holly Holm

Albuquerque (USA) will hold a huge celebration in honor of the new UFC champion's title on December 6th

The victory of Holly holm about Ronda Rousey It happened last November 14th, but the celebrations for the former boxer's achievement have been going on for weeks and the peak of the celebration seems to be yet to come. After declaring an entire month in honor of Holm, the city of Albuquerque, the fighter's hometown, scheduled a large parade for next Sunday (6) in honor of the new UFC champion.

The event will take place in the most important city in the state of New Mexico between 14 and 16 pm on Sunday, local time (19 and 21 pm, official Brasília time). More details about the parade, such as schedule, events and attendance, will still be announced by Albuquerque City Hall.

With the triumph over Ronda at UFC 193, Holm expanded her professional record to ten wins in ten fights, and to top it off she took away her rival's unbeaten record with a devastating knockout. Although it has not been made official by Ultimate, the tendency is for Holly's first title defense to be an immediate rematch with Rousey.
