In posts on his Instagram stories, Ricardo Janderson reported that he became the target of threats shortly after the fight. The singer asked the profiles that shared his videos to help clarify the situation for the public and reiterated that he has no connection whatsoever to what happened.

The artist also stated that he was surprised to receive aggressive messages from people who, according to him, cannot distinguish reality from fiction. Janderson further emphasized that he is neither an MMA fighter nor a lookalike of anyone, lamented the lack of professional recognition, and revealed that he already faces frequent episodes of homophobia, a scenario that, according to him, made the situation even more difficult in light of the recent threats.

I don't have the financial means to invest in the things I've been doing for so many years—singing, doing female voices—and out of nowhere I come across messages from people who can't separate what's real from fantasy! I already suffer homophobia every day, and out of nowhere, I start receiving threats! For God's sake, it's really difficult," the singer concluded.
