The Spaniard faced Justin gaethje In the main event, a title fight for the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg), and despite being the overwhelming favorite, 'El Matador' was ultimately defeated by his rival and left with a badly bruised face.

Justin Gaethje experiences a cinematic night, knocks out Topuria and wins the UFC White House belt.

In the very first round, Topuria was surprised by an uppercut after a takedown attempt, a blow that opened a cut on his forehead. In the following rounds, Gaethje adjusted his jab and began to connect with punches frequently, gradually disfiguring his opponent's face.

By the end of the fourth round, when the fight was stopped, 'El Matador' was practically unrecognizable.
