The Brazilian Renan Barao is without an opponent WEC-49. The Nova União athlete who would make his debut in the event against Clint Godfrey, saw his opponent leave the card due to an injury and is awaiting a new opponent. Now the organization will have just over two weeks to find a new opponent for the Brazilian.
WEC-49 takes place on June 20th, in Edmonton, Canada and will have 4 more Brazilian athletes in action. Wagnney Fabiano faces Frank Gomez, Rafael Rebello will face Chris Cariaso and Brazilian Rafael Assunção will face Diego Nunes in fights on the preliminary card.
