Brazil has another representative in the UFC welterweight division. Nova União athlete Amilcar Alves is the newest Brazilian hired by the organization chaired by Dana White.
The Brazilian athlete is expected to make his debut in the most famous octagon in the world against Mike Pierce, a fighter who has won seven of his last eight fights. The duel is scheduled for the preliminary card of UFC-118, an event that takes place on August 28, in Boston.
