First athlete to win in ufc vegas 118 during the night of this Saturday (6), Keten Esquentadinha gave a show to knock out her compatriot Ariane Sorriso with a perfect head kick in the first round. The result secured the second consecutive victory for the fighter from Manaus in the strawweight category (up to 52,1 kg). In addition to the obvious benefit of achieving another success on her record, the triumph also evened the head-to-head record between the two, since Carnelossi defeated her in 2019.

The two fighters started the fight with different approaches. Sorriso tried to corner her opponent against the cage in the first few seconds, attacking the waistline and working quick combinations of punches. After acclimating to the nature of the fight, Ketlen began to attack with strong blows, until she took her opponent to the ground with a strong right cross, followed by a head kick that knocked the Paulista fighter out.
