Ariane dominated the center of the octagon from the start, working jabs to her opponent's waistline. In contrast, Ketlen seemed comfortable keeping her guard relatively low and gradually trying to regain space in the octagon. In this first phase, Esquentadinha landed a powerful overhand right, although she absorbed some of her opponent's combinations.

While Carnelossi tried to establish distance, Ketlen landed another strong right cross to her compatriot's temple, sending her to the ground briefly. As she attempted to get up, Sorriso was struck by a precise head kick, knocking her out and forcing the referee to stop the fight when the clock showed one minute and 34 seconds.

In the post-fight interview inside the octagon, she said she had prepared very well for the fight, to the point of knowing all of her opponent's tendencies. She highlighted that she has more knockout power than Sorriso, and said that this made the difference in the outcome of the fight.
