“If one day Ronda (Rousey) wants to spend time with us here, that’s no problem. If the fighter comes here with a good mind, an open mind to learn, there's no problem. It's hard for me to say anything about Ronda because she has her own coach, and I respect him. It's hard to say 'come here, Ronda'. Not just her, but any fighter who wants to spend time with us at Kings MMA is more than welcome”, said Rafael, to the “MMA Fighting” website. “When you have the belt, when you have the championship in your hands, you cannot run straight at your opponent like crazy. You can't do that anymore. I think the way she ran against Holly was a little... She anticipated what she wanted to do. Sometimes you have to hide what you want to do in the fight. I believe she has to be a little more calm, more confident, she has to change the game a little. That’s my opinion as an MMA fan,” he added.

Despite the considerations, however, the coach defended Ronda from the harsh criticism she has been suffering recently and recognized the blonde's achievements and her importance for the history of MMA. “People have to respect her. Just because she lost this fight is her trash from now on? No. She did a great job in the UFC, within the sport. I can say that my daughter is a big fan of hers. If my daughter wants to fight today, it's because of Ronda. She did great things, not only for women, but for children as well. Many children now watch the events because of Ronda. She did a great job within the fight,” she concluded.
