Dana White has his own version of the breakup with Anderson Silva In the UFC. Although widely recognized as one of the greatest fighters in the organization's history, the Brazilian went through a negative phase, accumulating consecutive losses. This moment culminated in advice from the manager, which was not well received by the former champion.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, White stated that Anderson was a difficult figure to deal with. The UFC president also highlighted the Spider's advanced age at the time and revealed that, when he suggested retirement, the former champion never spoke to him again.

The Brazilian also distinguished himself by winning 11 title fights in the middleweight category (up to 83,9 kg). However, in the final stretch of his career, he faced a difficult phase, achieving only one victory in his last nine fights.
