Melqui Galvão is no longer the only member of the family detained. After the arrest of the father and coach of the jiu-jitsu phenomenon, Mica Galvão, accused of sexual crimes against minors, now the athlete's uncle, Enoque Galvão, was also arrested this Tuesday (26), suspected of involvement in the same crimes attributed to his brother.
According to a report by G1, Enoque, 44, who, like Melqui, works as a civil police officer, was arrested by agents from the Specialized Police Station for the Protection of Children and Adolescents in Manaus. He underwent a custody hearing after his temporary arrest was ordered by the Court of Criminal Guarantees and Police Inquiries of the Court of Justice of Amazonas.

Melqui Galvão, a renowned Jiu-Jitsu coach and father of Mica Galvão, was arrested on suspicion of sexual crimes against minors, according to the website 'BNC Amazonas'. According to the publication, Melquisedeque de Lima Galvão Ferreira, 47, turned himself in to authorities after a São Paulo court issued a 30-day temporary arrest warrant; he is being investigated for threats, rape of a vulnerable person, sexual harassment, and unauthorized access to electronic devices, in cases that allegedly went beyond the relationship between coach and students.
