The last time McGregor entered the octagon was in July 2021, when he faced Dustin poirier in the confrontation that concluded the trilogy between the two. On that occasion, the Irishman was defeated. It is worth remembering that his last victory took place in January 2020, when he overcame Donald Cerrone.
Max Holloway, in turn, seeks to recover from his most recent performance in the UFC. The Hawaiian was dominated by Charles of the Bronx at UFC 326 and, in addition to the defeat, lost the BMF belt.
