Ronda Rousey defeated Gina Carano by submission this Saturday (16)In the main event of the Netflix MMA event, held in California (USA), the former UFC champion, in a featherweight bout (up to 65,7 kg), needed only 15 seconds to take down her opponent and secure the victory with an armbar in the first round.

As soon as the fight began, Gina Carano advanced, attempting to land punches in the striking exchanges. However, Ronda showcased all her grappling experience, closing the distance and taking her opponent to the ground in the opening moments of the fight.

With dominance on the ground, Rousey landed on top of her opponent and quickly locked in position to attempt the submission. Giving Carano no chance to react, the American tightened the armbar and forced her rival to tap out.

The referee stopped the fight at 4 minutes and 43 seconds of the first round, declaring the victory of... Ronda Rousey By submission. With the result, the former champion now has 13 wins and two losses in her professional MMA record. On the other side, Gina Carano now has seven wins and two losses in her career.
