The Nova União representative faced off against Jacqueline Cavalcanti in an all-Brazilian duel on the preliminary card of ufc vegas 117, held this Saturday (16). At the start of the second round, Ketlen began to seek a grappling fight and managed a takedown in the first few seconds. From the bottom, Jacqueline surprised with an upward elbow strike, but continued to be dominated by the Nova União athlete, who worked the ground and pound well.

The third round began with Jacqueline being more aggressive, while Ketlen relied on experience. The Brazilian showed good evasiveness against her opponent's attacks and landed precise jabs while moving around the octagon.

At the end of the three rounds, the judges declared the winner of Ketlen Scallop by unanimous decision.

In a duel of undefeated teams in ufc vegas 117Tommy Gantt made short work of Artur Minev.
