Khalil rountree expressed frustration with the performance of Khamzat Shimaev No. UFC 328, held last Saturday (9). The Chechen faced Sean Strickland in the main fight of the event and ended defeated by split decision of the judges, after a performance considered below expectations by both fans and his training partner.

During an appearance on the 'Jason Podcast', Rountree stated that he had difficulty watching the fight and revealed his bewilderment at his training partner's performance. According to the fighter, Chimaev's performance in the octagon was far from what he is used to seeing on a daily basis, which caused surprise and concern.
