One of the great names in the history of middleweight (up to 83,9 kg), Chris Weidman He reached a different level in his career. The American, eternal tormentor of Anderson Silva, had his successful career in the octagon recognized by the largest MMA organization by being inducted into its Hall of Fame. The announcement was made by the company itself during the UFC 328, an event held this Saturday (9), in New Jersey (USA). In this way, the veteran joins the modern wing of the select group of fighters.
Present at the 'Prudential Center', Weidman couldn't contain himself with the tribute he received and, as expected, burst into tears. At his peak in the UFC, the American impressed with his wrestling skills. He even became the middleweight champion undefeated, delivering an epic and shocking knockout to Anderson Silva in 2013. In the rematch that same year, Chris won again, in a fight where 'The Spider' broke his leg.
