Caio BorralhoApparently, he was caught off guard by the attitude of Khamzat Shimaev during the press conference of UFC 328, held last Wednesday (7). The Chechen faces Sean Strickland in the main fight of the card and, after a series of provocations at the promotional event, lost patience and delivered a kick to the American during the traditional face-off, a situation that, according to the nerd, should have been avoided.

In an interview with Helen Yee, Borralho described the episode as madness and negatively assessed Chimaev's attitude. In the Brazilian's view, the action was unnecessary, especially on the eve of the fight, as it could have resulted in injury and even the cancellation of the bout.

“It was crazy. That kick was bad. I wouldn’t do that even if it was a big fight or something, because they’re fighting on Saturday. Maybe that guy could get hurt and the fight could be canceled, so it’s not something he wanted. I wouldn’t do that, but I’m not in that guy’s mind,” he said. Caio Borralho.
