If he wins and doesn't fight for the title, Jacaré promises to 'get' Dana

Not knowing what it's like to lose since joining the UFC, Ronaldo Jacare considers that he should have already challenged for the middleweight belt of the biggest organization on the planet. However, the chance has not yet come, as Luke Rockhold will be the next challenger for the title. The Brazilian, then, hopes to receive the long-awaited opportunity right after his next fight, against Yoel romero, in the next month.

Jacaré will duel with the Cuban at UFC 194, an event that will also feature a fight between Rockhold and the champion, Chris Weidman. If he wins and is “in line” again, the Brazilian joked and revealed what his plan would be.

“He [Rockhold] certainly jumped the queue, he wasn’t supposed to be next. My friend, it is past time. Here's the thing: if I beat Romero, which is what will happen, I'll go there and catch Dana White. You can't catch the matchmaker, Joe Silva, who is small. Dana is a little bigger”, joked Jacaré, in an interview with the “Combate” channel website.

Then, getting serious again, Jacaré declared that he wouldn't think it would be fair if, before fighting for the belt, he had to have one more fight after Romero. “I'm next, I don't care about me, who's going to lose and who's going to win. I want to beat Romero, a very tough guy. I’ll pass him and I’ll be next,” he added.

For the fight against Romero, Jacaré said he trained a lot with the former champion Anderson Silva, who would have given him valuable advice for the duel. “I trained a lot with Anderson. He knows a lot about MMA, he taught me a lot. I trained with him many times, but this time he trained with me. I sucked a lot from the champion. When someone is willing to teach, you feel it. He had a beginner's disposition, he gave me several cool touches and I'm going to get to this fight well,” he said.

The fight between Jacaré and Romero will be part of the star-studded UFC 194 card. In addition to Rockhold x Weidman, the fight night will feature, in addition to the long-awaited fight between José Aldo e Conor McGregor. All of this will happen on December 12th, in Las Vegas.
