Renato Moicano speaks out about the Melqui Galvão case: 'Throw it in the gutter, you son of a bitch'

Considered an influential figure in Jiu-Jitsu, having trained names like Diogo Reis, Fabricio Andrey, and his own son, Mica Galvão, the coach is being investigated for accusations that include rape of a vulnerable person, sexual harassment, threats, and unauthorized access to an electronic device.

Renato MoicanoDuring his statement, he affirmed that, based on what he saw, he believes in the seriousness of the accusations and criticized the conduct described in the case, especially regarding the responsibility of adults in situations involving minors. The athlete also emphasized that, in his view, family members should always be attentive and present.

The fighter also commented on the possibility of punishment if guilt is proven, but stressed that his opinion is personal and not a definitive judgment on the case, as the investigations are still ongoing.

Moicano believes the girl's father should be punished.

Throughout his statement, the Ultimate veteran also gave his opinion on the attitude of the girl's father, who was mentioned in the case. According to Moicano, his stance as the young woman's legal guardian should be different, aiming to protect the family circle.

"And my opinion is different as well. I know this is going to be controversial, and that's why I didn't want to talk about it. The girl's father should also be punished. That's my view."

'Justice doesn't work,' says Moicano.

Moicano, who emphasized that everything he said was just his opinion, went further. The fighter expressed disbelief both in the experts handling the case and in the improvement of Melqui Galvão, who is imprisoned on suspicion of sexual crimes against minors.

"Another important thing here: it seems to me that he's so guilty that he went to Manaus, you know? He turned himself in in Manaus. In Manaus, it seems he had connections with the police as well. In other words, he already had friends there. He's definitely in a separate cell."

That being said, this is just my opinion. I don't know what's true, I don't know what happened, I don't want to get sued. But, from what it seems in the audio, the guy is confessing. But my opinion is: there's no deal. The guy isn't going to get better. If he really is like that, he won't improve.

My only problem with the death penalty is that the state might end up killing innocent people. Like Monark, who can't even open YouTube anymore, you know? So, in my opinion, it's the family who should be doing justice. You can't let something like this go unpunished.

So, if you're some kind of wimp who keeps demanding a statement from the athlete, go f*** yourself. Either you sort it out yourself or call the police, dude. If this had happened to my family, I wouldn't be responsible for my actions.

This doesn't just destroy one person, it destroys an entire family. If this is true, this guy destroyed a family. Not even a criminal would accept that. So my statement is this: go f*** yourself to whoever keeps asking for a statement. It changes nothing.
