Karate Combat has been gaining prominence for some time now due to viral moments and controversial episodes during its events. And last Saturday, a new controversy occurred. At the league's 61st show, held in Miami (USA), the fight between Brazilian Cláudio Ribeiro and Curtis Millender was interrupted not by the referee, but because digital influencer Malcolm Schuyler, popularly known as 'Winged C', invaded the pit.
As if showing up out of nowhere and disrupting the athletes wasn't enough, the individual even thought it appropriate to pretend to be visually impaired. When he appeared in the pit, Winged C was carrying a cane and wearing sunglasses. For the uninitiated, the influencer, who relies on humor and controversy, became known for fighting in 'backyard' events and in an eccentric manner.

As expected, former UFC fighters were taken aback by the influencer's behavior, and many fans booed him. Despite the incident, Cláudio remained focused on the fight and punished his opponent with his power, establishing himself as one of the best athletes in Karate Combat.
