Last Tuesday (28), the world collapsed for Mica Galvão. All because Melqui Galvão, his father and renowned jiu-jitsu coach, was arrested in Manaus on suspicion of sexual crimes against minors. Largely due to the scandal, the star of the gentle art made an important decision regarding the future of his career. The athlete simply announced the end of the acclaimed 'BJJ College' team and the creation of his own team.

Mica's official statement came last Sunday (3), through his official 'Instagram' account. Now, the young jiu-jitsu star, just 22 years old, is responsible for the Mika Jiu-Jitsu team, created with the intention of completely distancing himself from the BJJ College brand, led by his father, who continues to be investigated.
