Larissa pacheco She experienced a mix of emotions in her Karate Combat debut. Last Saturday (2), at an event held in Miami (USA), the Brazilian, who made her mark in the PFL, simply destroyed Julia Stasiuk, knocking her out in the first round. However, the athlete's posture in the fight did not please many fans and made her harshly criticized.

Despite being out of action since 2024, Larissa, one of the best fighters in MMA today, ignored her time off and dominated the pit, hurting the Polish fighter with her punches. So much so that Stasiuk, already disoriented by the Brazilian's attacks, turned her back, in a clear sign to the referee that she was giving up the fight.

Since the professional fighter didn't stop the fight, the former PFL star showed no mercy and took advantage of her opponent having her back turned to deliver a powerful elbow strike to her head. Stasiuk immediately fell, and Larissa, seeing her defenseless, unleashed a brutal flurry of punches, forcing the referee to stop the fight.

Because of the incident, many judged that the veteran's aggressiveness was disproportionate and complained, not only stating that the elbow strike was illegal because it hit the Polish fighter in the back of the neck, but also asking for the fight result to be annulled. Despite the controversy, Larissa arrived in her new home with a bang and is already a strong contender to become the bantamweight (61 kg) champion.
