Charles of the Bronx He's experiencing a special moment both inside and outside the most famous octagon in the world. Enjoying great form in the UFC after winning the symbolic BMF belt.The former lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg) announced his engagement to Vitória Brum, following a marriage proposal in Gramado, in the Serra Gaúcha region of Rio Grande do Sul.

The news was announced by the couple on social media last Tuesday (28), when Vitória published a message celebrating the new chapter alongside the fighter. The couple, who already have a son together, Dominic Oliveira, 1 year and six months old, have formalized another important step in their relationship.

By sharing the moment in collaboration with Charles of the Bronx On Instagram, Vitória Brum highlighted the emotion of accepting the proposal and emphasized the significance of this new phase she is experiencing alongside the fighter.

“I said 'yes'... and it was the most certain 'yes' of my life. Yes to love, to partnership, to the dreams that are now ours. Yes to sharing the good days and facing any challenge together. Today a new chapter begins... and it has your name next to mine. ❤️ Mr. Oliveira,” Vitória said in the post.

While celebrating his engagement, 'Do Bronx' is also experiencing an excellent phase in his career. The Brazilian is riding high after winning the symbolic BMF belt. Max Holloway by unanimous decision at UFC 326, held in March in Las Vegas (USA).

With no fight scheduled at the moment, Charles is enjoying a period of rest with his family, but remains attentive to the lightweight division scene. The São Paulo native is aiming for another title shot sometime in 2026.

For that, he awaits the outcome of the match between Ilia Topuria e Justin gaethje, which happens in the UFC White House, on June 14th, in Washington DC (USA), for the unification of the category title.

Furthermore, Charles has already made it clear that he is ready to replace any of the athletes should any unforeseen event occur, whether due to injury or any other situation, reinforcing his desire to return to the top of the division as soon as possible.
