Alex Poatan explains his obsession with training and offers a sincere reflection on the life of a fighter.

In a video posted to his YouTube channel after a weight training session at the gym, the São Paulo native commented on the change in routine and made it clear that the level of demand will increase significantly in the United States. For the fighter, this period will be crucial in reaching peak performance for the fight.

Holding his pre-camp in Sobrália, Minas Gerais, in recent weeks, the former middleweight (up to 83,9 kg) and light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) champion explained that he will still spend a few days in São Paulo before continuing his international trip.

"That's it. Today is Monday and on Wednesday we're traveling. I'll spend three days in São Paulo and then head to the United States to continue my preparation. And the training there will be different. Things are going to get tough," he said.

The video was published last Tuesday (28) and Poatan also appeared this Wednesday (29) in his Instagram stories flying over São Paulo, which indicates that the trip to the United States should take place between next Saturday (2) and Sunday (3).
