The Brazilian entered the main card of the event, held last Saturday (18), and, after a good first round, his performance dropped in the second, he was almost knocked out and was even provoked with a 'dance' in the third before being defeated by split decision of the judges.

Midway through the round, Moisés secured a takedown. In an attempt to get back up, his opponent ended up giving up his back, a position the Brazilian controlled until the final seconds of the round.

In the second round, the Brazilian returned relying on low kicks and closing the distance. However, after two failed takedown attempts, Thiago began to show physical fatigue, while Young grew stronger in the fight with combinations varying between body and head strikes.

Sensing his opponent's fatigue, the American began to focus on front kicks to the abdomen, while the Brazilian persisted with takedowns, without success.

Midway through the round, Moisés was surprised by a strong straight punch that sent him to the ground. Before getting up, however, he taunted Young with a brief 'dance', signaling confidence in controlling the fight from then on.

After three rounds of action, the judges awarded the victory to Gauge Young by split decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29).
