Police approached the former UFC champion.
Merab then managed to get off the bus without an accident, but ended up being stopped by some police officers who were passing by and noticed his reckless behavior. Despite the situation, the interaction was calm and everyone involved acted amicably, without further consequences.
This is not the first time the fighter has put himself in high-risk situations. Years before becoming champion, Merab went viral on social media after diving headfirst into a frozen lake and suffering a deep cut on his forehead. He is in Philadelphia to compete in Real American Freestyle 8, which will take place this Saturday (18). He will face Henry Cejudo in the main fight.
